PokerStars will give away $2.5M on Christmas Chests in December

We know more information about the upcoming PokerStars' promotion for December.

December is near, and for some time, we were wondering how PokerStars is going to end the year. What promotion will they release for the final month of 2018? How much money will be given away? Will there be something for all poker players?

This time, the December promotion made by PokerStars maybe is not state of the art or some revolutionary approach, but at least, all poker players can take part in it.

This news was brought to the poker community by PokerFuse, and this is what we learnt:

What are the rules of Christmas Calendar Chests?

From the 1st to 24th of December players will earn an additional chest called "Christmas Calendar Chest".

Every day you can earn only one of those chests, and inside, you will find cash prizes, Spin & Go's tickets, free bets, spins tickets and more. That is how much you can get from every single chest:

Probability Red Chest Blue Chest Bronze Chest Silver Chest Gold Chest Platinum Chest
20% $4 $10 $17.75 $19.75 $50 $200
20% $4.25 $11.50 $18.50 $22.50 $60 $250
20% $5 $12.50 $20 $25 $75 $274.50
20% $5.50 $13.25 $21 $27.50 $90 $300
19.9999% $6 $15 $22.50 $30 $100 $225.25
0.0001% $50,000 $50,000 $50,000 $50,000 $50,000 $50,000

Those are the instant cash prizes that every player may get from the chests, but additionally, you can find a special "Christmas Key". Three of those keys can be then exchanged for a cash prize up to $/€50,000!

This promotion may change, as we learn some official information from PokerStars itself, but we can see that the regularity is a main theme this year.

That's why don't forget to plan your December thoroughly and earn at least one Chest a day as it can boost your chance of winning an additional rakeback.
